We are in the central part of Alameda. The city of Alameda is also an island, so we have the most spectacular views of San Francisco! Our house is just a 10 minute walk to the beach, past extraordinarily lovely Victorians. Our neighborhood is charming, warm, and friendly... a real nice community!

We are just 10 minutes from BART and 2 minutes from the O bus so it's easy to go anywhere in the Bay Area. Although we are located in the East Bay, our island is a safe haven and we live in a close-knit and diverse community with superb restaurants, parks, pubs, cafes, farmers markets, museums and great views of San Francisco from our beaches.

Our property has a luscious green yard with a flower/veggie garden that you are welcome to forage and I do all the gardening, unless you want to help (always welcomed). We do have a toy poodle who loves people and is very friendly.

This listing is for a large bedroom (13 x 16) with 11 foot ceilings and it is completely furnished. It has a double-wide closet with long shelves (so lots of storage), TV, WiFi, desk and office chair, full bed, personal refrigerator/freezer and 2 big windows that allow plenty of sunshine & cross breezes. Living on the top floor allows a great view of the neighborhood, but still allows privacy. It's a great room.

Youll have access to a fully equipped kitchen as well as all the appliance, cleaning supplies and linens.

We are a positive, easy-going married couple who enjoy life. We have one other female roommate and we are looking for a roommate who is respectful and easy going like us. We love playing cards, games, having friends over, BBQing and watching games or a good movie together, but there is also a TV in your room if you decide you need to be alone.

Our rules are simple, treat others the way you like to be treated, and we like to laugh. This room is available immediately and we welcome pre-views/viewings.
