Roommate needed In Oakland

I'm a single woman seeking a mature/responsible female-identifying roommate to share a two-bedroom rent-stabilized apartment in Adams Point in Oakland. Your room is roughly 10' x 9.5' with a large closet. Right now the walls are painted a bright blue, but I will repaint it white before you move in.

Key features of the apartment are a spacious and sunny living room, ground floor access (there is a small flight of stairs), a covered balcony with small grill, all hardwood floors, and because it is located on a corner it is very quiet. You would have your own room (see photos) and would share a bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is fully furnished- except the room you'd moving into. I am including cable/internet in the cost. We would split an additional cost of the electricity/heat monthly. There is a foldout sofa in case you have guests. There is onsite parking, but you would need to park on the street, unless a space opens up in the garage.

You should not have pet allergies because I have two friendly cats.

It is within walking distance to 19th St BART and very close to multiple bus lines including Transbay. Whole Foods is a few minutes away by foot, and very close to a shopping center with Sprouts, CVS and Grocery Outlet. It is also conveniently located close to 580, and Lake Merritt is less than a 10 minute walk.

I love art/photography, and the apartment has lots of that on the walls. I am quiet but friendly, and ideally you would be considerate and mature. I work part-time, though I'm looking for a full-time position. I like to read, watch tv, work out (I have some freeweights if you are interested). As far as the living arrangement I would want to see how we get along before adding you to the lease. Let me know more about you. (preferably something to give me a good idea of your personality and situation). I'm a morning person, FYI. also, any smoking will need to be out on the balcony.
