A little about me (and Brooklyn 🐾)

Hi! I'm Amanda, I'm 36, and I work in sales and marketing. I'm out of the apartment for work about four days a week, generally from around 12–9, so I'm not home all day. When I'm home, I'm pretty low-key. I like watching TV, crafting, reading, running, and going to the gym. I meal prep once a week and generally go out about once a week.

I'm usually in bed around 11, so I'm definitely more of a chill-at-home person than a late-night party person. During the summer, I do like having people over a few times a month to grill or watch movies in the backyard. Otherwise, I really value having a comfortable, peaceful home to come back to.

I'm AuDHD, so I really appreciate clear communication, mutual respect, and a home environment where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. I'd especially love to live with another neurodivergent person, although that's absolutely not a requirement.

And then there's Brooklyn 🐶 my 16-year-old pug. He's deaf and mostly blind, and these days he spends most of his time sleeping and cuddling. He's incredibly friendly and loves people and other dogs.

Because he's gotten older, he's also become a bit incontinent and wears a diaper. I'm completely comfortable managing his care, but I want to be upfront about it because anyone living here should be comfortable sharing a home with a senior dog and the occasional realities that come with caring for an elderly pet.

I'm also open to another dog roommate if the dogs get along well!

What I'm looking for:

I'm looking for someone who is clean, respectful, communicative, and considerate of shared spaces. I'm happy to be friendly, chat, or hang out together, but I also respect having our own lives and space.

Ideally, the apartment feels like a home for both of us rather than just a place we happen to share. If you're someone who enjoys a comfortable, relatively quiet home, appreciates good communication, and loves dogs, we could be a great fit!
