Room in Williamsburg with a private yard

Hi, I'm James. I just signed a lease on a 2 bed 3 bath apartment in Williamsburg and am looking for 2 roommates, starting May 1st.

I'm really excited about this place! We have a private backyard (just for our unit), two full bathrooms (both shared), basement bike storage and in-building laundry.

Each bedroom has a closet and fits a queen bed and a desk. All 3 bedrooms are the same size, and each has its own mini-split A/C unit. The rooms come unfurnished.

The location is absolutely perfect - don't even have to cross the street to get to Bedford Ave L train stop. Citi bikes are right there too.

4 minutes to Whole Foods, 6 minutes to McCarren Park, 10 minutes to VITAL Climbing Gym.

For this location right next to the Bedford stop with a private yard you will not find a better price.

The apartment is very quiet - our unit is tucked into the back of the lot so no street noise.

About me: I'm 32, have been in NYC for 4 years and work as a Software Engineer at DoorDash. I typically work from home from the desk in my room. I've lived in many places including Berkeley, Austin, Honolulu and Ann Arbor.

I love hosting, and plan to use the yard for occasional laid-back parties. Think cookouts, pumpkin carving, and backyard movie nights. I like to keep things tame and respectful for the neighbors, so not throwing ragers.

My hobbies include hiking, weight lifting, ultimate frisbee, and reading esoteric science blogs. I'll also be joining Vital to start my climbing era :)

I'm extroverted but also an old soul so not much of a partier. Looking for people who want to live in a quiet / relaxed environment.
