Shared living space

Spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in heart of Williamsburg (two blocks from the L train) with opening for 2 bedrooms, one with private bathroom and one with shared, for a one year lease to be signed within the next 30 days. The smaller room with the shared bathroom (with me) is available early, around August 15, and can split the month with the outgoing tenant. Guarantors are required to sign the lease and security deposit (one month's rent) to be paid to the outgoing tenants.

This apartment has a large shared living space and kitchen area with high ceilings and huge window with plenty of natural sunlight. In-unit laundry, though the building gave us a wrong-sized new unit that doesn't fit in the closet, which we're still waiting on a replacement. It has a small balcony with a solid view (the roof, just a floor above, is huge and has a phenomenal view of the city). The shared living space will likely come unfurnished, so we can split new furniture.

The larger bedroom will come unfurnished. The outgoing tenant in the smaller bedroom will listen to offers for all furniture/TV in the room, if interested. Both rooms have large closet space and room for comfortably for a Queen-size bed.

I am 32 with a full-time job that has me working some nights and weekends. I'm extremely easygoing and I keep to myself. My space (the third bedroom) is a loft space above the apartment. There are a set of wooden stairs that pull down from the ceiling that remain down while I'm home. I spend nearly all of my time up there, but I'm definitely down for group hangs, etc.

I'm seeking two tenants with full-time jobs who will respect our shared space and keep it clean. I'm fine with having guests over but let's all be in agreement before a party breaks out (down for that, too, sometimes!) I don't care about your background, gender, and if you have a pet - all equally welcome!

There is also a small gym in the building with a couple of treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, and a weight machine, and a private package room, as well.

Apartment is 2 blocks from the Driggs end of the Bedford L stop and 4-5 blocks from the Metropolitan G/L stop. Incredible neighborhood and just a few minutes walk from McCarren Park.
