Looking for one roommate to fill the third bedroom ($1200) in South Williamsburg apartment. Prime location, located a 3 minute walk from Marcy Ave JMZ. The perfect place to live once the L train shuts down! You're also only a 10 minute walk to the new waterfront Domino park, and close to everything Williamsburg has to offer.

Lease will start on November 1st, and will go for a year. The room will require first months rent and a security deposit.

The Room
Large, bright & sunny! The room is big enough to fit a queen sized bed, as well as a desk and couch and still feel spacious. You will have one closet in the bedroom, and another closet in the hallway for your use. The room will come with a bed and frame as well as a shelving unit. But please feel free to bring whatever furniture you want to make the place feel like home. There is no proper living room in the apartment, so you can feel free to make your room your own little hangout oasis.

The Apartment
The apartment is a fourth floor walkup (top floor, no footsteps above you!!!), with plenty of charm. The place has a full kitchen, full bathroom, and three bedrooms. Also the apartment has a rooftop with a view of the bridge and lower manhattan. Perfect to sit and have a glass of wine and relax. The building is old - and with that comes the occasional small fix. Good news - the landlord works on the first floor of the building, and is on top of getting done what needs to be fixed.

The Location
South Williamsburg, located a three minute walk to the Marcy JMZ (JZ gets you downtown easily, M gets you uptown easily). A 15 minute walk to the Bedford L. Across the street from a bus depot that will get you anywhere in Brooklyn & some of Queens. We are a 10 minute walk to the East River, and a 3 minute walk to the Williamsburg bridge. You can walk over the bridge to Manhattan in just under 20 minutes.

The Roommates
A couple who have been together for two years and living together for a year. Both very respectful and even keeled. You would never ever be dealing with couple drama. We take up one bedroom, and the smallest bedroom used as an office/studio/lounge space. The girl, 27, works as a textile designer in Flatiron and has lived in the apartment for five years. The guy, 36, works as a bookkeeper at a school in Brooklyn. We both work m-f regular hours, come home and cook a nice dinner, then retreat to our room to either watch some TV or draw.

Ideal Roommate
We are looking for someone who is going to love the space as much as we do. Someone who makes an effort to clean up after themselves, won't mind helping out in cleaning, won't bring the party home at midnight on a Tuesday, and a friendly face in passing. We usually keep to ourselves, but we would like to have someone who can be friendly, thoughtful, and easy going.
