Seeking covid-conscious roommate for a year sublease (May 1st 2026-April 31st 2027, with option to renew on next lease) to share an awesome 3b1b with me in Sunset Park. $1,325/mo excluding utilities, 1.5 flights of stairs walk-up.

Offering a cozy, mostly-furnished bedroom (BYO mattress) with beautiful natural light and south-facing windows giving you a view into the backyard.

Apartment also has a 3rd bedroom that acts as a shared art/workspace, and a spacious living room for socializing. More photos available upon request.

I love this apartment and am continuously working to make it a more clean, organized, comfortable place to gather, relax, and be creative.

I'm seeking someone who wants to work with me to make this a place they're proud to call home.

LOCATION:
Quiet spot a short walk from the 36th St. DNR (Spareroom won't let me select it so it says 25th, sorry!), buses, greenspace, food, shopping, and recreation. Many places in the neighborhood to hang out and meet friends. Cool events in the area too!
Live-in landlord (chill and minds his business, but usually responsive and helpful), lovely neighbors.

THE PROCESS:

- What covid precautions you take.
- Employment status, income, and savings.
- If you have any pets (No dogs. Others require landlord approval).
- When you're ready to move in, if not May 1st.
- Please bring questions or concerns! I want you to feel confident about living together and am pretty flexible.
- If you aren't sure if you're a good fit, apply anyways.
- If we get along, I will invite you for a house tour.
- If you are accepted, I will send you a sublease contract for your signature and will discuss the logistics of moving in. I am requesting 1 month's rent and security deposit up-front.
- If you are rejected or deferred, I will let you know ASAP—No ghosting.

WHO I AM:
26 y/o professional (project manager) by day, pretty easygoing, but enthusiastic and eager for a roommate who can match that energy on house matters.

Social, friendly, and often up to chat, but we don't need to be friends or hang out. The most important thing is being able to work together and get things done around the house. I would love an accountability buddy!

I keep things pretty clean and enjoy organizing when I make time for it.

In terms of hobbies, I'm a creative who enjoys basically anything I can do with my hands, electronic music and vocal synth enthusiast, moé subculturist, and eclectic curatorial spirit who enjoys learning new things.

I love sharing resources and tools. If we live together, I am happy to share things with you (eg. sewing machine) so long as you treat them well.

Covid-consciousness:
I'm seeking someone who is similarly cautious to me—Primarily, masking with a well-fitting KN95 or higher anywhere indoors with untested people. This includes eating outdoors or in ventilated spaces only, unless there are no alternatives.
