The apartment is a 3-bedroom unit with two bathrooms (the second bathroom you would share with one other clean and quiet lodger renting the second spare bedroom). The apartment features a balcony, hardwood floors, air conditioning, high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer in the basement. The room features a twin-size bed with a brand-new mattress, a closet, shelves, a desk, and a new office chair. Quiet tree-lined block near parks, shops, restaurants, Industry City, transport (R and N train at 45th St., D express at 36th St., B 63 bus)
We are a laid-back, liberal couple working primarily in the nonprofit sector. We love culture, reading, philosophy, history, spirituality, film, music, art, travel, nature, walking, animals, and yoga. We are highly seasoned, respectful roommates and keep our home quiet, clean, and tidy; we only ask that you do the same.
We have great neighbors in this three-story walk-up, so the building offers a friendly community feel. :) Perfect if you are quiet and clean, work or study full-time, and love cats! The kitchen is available for minimal food storage and occasional light cooking. We value privacy, but welcome the occasional chat or drink together when conducive. We regret that we cannot accommodate couples or additional pets at this time.
