Brownstone Bedroom with High Ceilings & Creative Charm – Sunset Park
Huge bedroom in a classic brownstone apartment just off 59th Street in Sunset Park, located in a one-floor walk-up.
This is the largest room in the home, featuring 10-foot ceilings, three large windows, and a striking decorative fireplace (non-working, preserved for aesthetic charm). The room is bright, spacious, and quietly dramatic — ideal for anyone who values light, scale, and character. A dancer’s pole is installed, making the space especially appealing for movement, performance, or fitness-oriented creatives.
The apartment includes a shared kitchen and shared bathroom, accessed via their own hallway and shared with one other housemate whose bedroom is on the opposite side of the apartment, allowing for a sense of privacy. The home is shared with one super amazing, sweet, other individual, and their gentle, well-behaved 35-lb Australian Shepherd.
A separate middle living room can be reserved for private use as an office, studio, or lounge for an additional fee. When taken privately, this space is available for $400 for a two-week period (approximately $29 per night), offering flexibility for work, creativity, or quiet retreat.
The apartment has a warm, thoughtfully curated feel, with amenities including a projector, mini heater, soft textiles, and layered lighting that create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere.
