Hi! We’re Spencer (27) and Billy (24), two laid-back, respectful and professional roommates looking for a third person, male or female, to join our awesome apartment in Red Hook, Brooklyn
We are offering a sublet of one bedroom from January 2026 to the end of June 2026, with the opportunity to extend as we plan to renew our lease in July! We prefer a commitment for the full 6-month term.
The apartment is a spacious 3BR/2BA unit with an elevator in the building.

Rent $1700 per month (All-inclusive!)
Payment: Payable via Venmo
Deposit: 1 Month's Rent Required (to be returned in June 2026)
Utilities Included: Internet, Heat, Hot Water, Electricity, and a Gas Cooktop.
Your private bedroom is 10’x10’
Huge windows facing south offering beautiful natural light and a view of the Statue of Liberty 🗽
Comes with its own individually remote controlled A/C unit built-in, central heat, and a double-door closet.
Optional Furniture: The previous roommate is open to selling his full-size bedframe, mattress, 32” flat-screen TV, and wall mount. The price is negotiable.
If you're bringing your own, IKEA is just a 15-minute walk away!
Our apartment supports TV Cable for an additional charge if you want it

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, toaster oven, dishes/glasses, pots, pans, 4 seat kitchen table and a separate pantry.

Huge living room with TV, couch, and a dedicated work-from-home office area!
Spencer works full time at the office and Billy has a hybrid schedule.

Both bathrooms are shared use, but your bathroom will be semi-private.

What’s Not Included:
2 Card Operated Washers and 2 Dryers are available inside the building on the ground floor. As well, there is a Laundromat across the street.
The 3 Roommates evenly split miscellaneous shared supply costs (Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Dish Soap, Cleaning Supplies, Air Freshener, etc.)

About the Neighborhood:
Red Hook was just voted NYC coolest neighborhood in 2025 by TimeOut Magazine!

The famous Red Hook Lobster Pound, Black Flamingo Coffee Shop, and Pioneer Works are across the street. One block away is Coffey Park, an open green space. Down the road is the renowned Hometown Barbecue. Local grocery stores include the Food Bazaar, Trader Joe's, as well as several bodegas.

Transportation:
5 Minute walk to the NYC Ferry which delivers you to Downtown and Midtown Manhattan in peaceful, fresh air. The ferry is like a summer adventure anytime of year and costs $2.90, the same as the subway.
Take the convenient B61 Bus Route that picks up at the front of the apartment, which will connect you within 15 minutes to the A, C, F, and G subway lines with free transfer.
The apartment also has a bike rack outside.
Street Parking is readily available, and the building has Gated Parking for an additional fee.

Vibe Check & Expectations
Billy and I both enjoy movie nights, video games like Super Smash Bros., live music concerts, and more

We are quiet and responsible roommates and would like someone who values the same. Guests are welcome, but we prefer not to host large parties in the apartment.

This room is for one occupant only. We welcome overnight guests and partners within reason (a couple of nights per week, for example), but we cannot accommodate a partner who would essentially be living here full-time.

We share the responsibilities of cleaning the common areas each week. Around the apartment everyone is expected to clean up after themselves and in a timely manner.

Please No Pets, No Smoking or Vaping, and No Drug Use of Any Kind.
