Perfect WFH Office with Garden

Looking for a friendly roommate or couple to share a spacious, well lit, and private renovated duplex for six months with the possibility to extend the sublet. The apartment is set back from the street behind a large, planted garden that we share with three friendly neighboring apartments. It’s three blocks from the waterfront, and only two from a Food Bazaar grocery store. Also within a few blocks: Ikea, Ample Hills, Hometown BBQ, Pioneer Works, and a bunch of other small breweries and distilleries. This is a pretty sweet spot!

Downstairs is all shared space: open plan kitchen, dining, and living room, as well as the bathroom. The shared space is furnished with basics, but there is room for more. The bedroom upstairs is 10 x 14 feet with a closet and well-lit windows. The next room over is a spacious study (all yours!), with another closet. Both the bedroom and office are unfurnished. We have laundry on site, as well as a shed to keep bikes, scooters, and motorcycles out of the rain. Pets are open for discussion.

The garden includes three separate outdoor spaces: two sitting areas and a rooftop vegetable garden. It’s very charming, and a godsend for having socially-distanced beers with friends.

COVID-19 Risk Profile: I work in urban agriculture, outdoors on a rooftop or in a large ventilated greenhouse with two other masked, responsible people. We can talk about our bubble buddy system.
