Beautiful Room 1 Block from Prospect Park

A beautiful room opened up in our 3-br apartment 1 block from the south side (best side) of Prospect Park.

We're looking for someone who can move in June 1st, but the room is open now so earlier can work too!

-Room is 10x13’ east-facing windows so a lot of morning and afternoon light
-Big pre-war building with character and renovated not long ago
-Elevator (apt is on the 5th floor but the stairs are also very walkable)
-Super lives in building and is very handy
-Laundry in basement
-Roof access (it's bare but big, great in the spring)
-Prospect Park and Parade Ground at end of block (:
-1 block from Church Ave B/Q stop, a short walk to the 2/5 and F/G
-Citibikes on the corner but also a closet where we keep our bikes
-2 blocks from a few great grocery stores
-Hugged by amazing neighborhoods all around
-Water and Heat included; Electric, Gas, and Internet separate ($45-85/mo)

About us: I'm a TV video editor working from home and love putting on a good movie (we have a wall projector!), listening through a record, and caring for my plants. I've been in NYC for a decade and in this apt for 3 years because I love the building and the neighborhood. My roommate is a part time teacher and student! We cook a lot and sometimes share a meal when there's an overlap - I keep vegetarian but I’m not down on anyone who eats otherwise. We clean up after ourselves well without stress and hopefully you feel similar. We stay covid-vigilant and have a considerate circle including some people who are immunocompromised so we're looking for someone who will be an open communicator and thoughtful around covid.

The term is flexible but ideally our new roommate can stay long-term! The apartment is rent-stabilized so no big jumps if you want to eventually get on the lease.
