Furnished room, elevator, laundry in building, including all utilities in a large 2 bedroom apartment in walking distance from prospect park and around the block from the express B/Q trains (25 mins to manhattan) available now on a month to month basis.

This is an art decorated and very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with bathroom, full kitchen, and very large living room with dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, pots, pans, and many cabinets, great for cooking a good meal. There's one bathroom, and rich, hardwood floors throughout the entire apartment as well. There's an elevator and access to laundry room in building. Your bedroom is furnished with a full sized bed, dresser, and art. The aesthetic in your room is calming, relaxing, and cozy.

I'm looking for a relaxed, responsible subletter to take over the second bedroom on a month to month basis. I typically rent the room on airbnb but am switching it off for the time being. This is a quiet building with older families so it's a great place for someone who wants a place to relax and unwind.

About me: I'm an entrepreneur who works in communications as a consultant and public speaker on workplace culture, unconscious bias, and brand story for other soloprenuers. I work from home. I've been quarantining since early March and it's just me in the apartment. Before Covid I had one off small gatherings of a friend or two from time to time (to watch a show or a game night). I do not have pets and I can get a long with a variety of personalities (I've lived with many folks from all over the world of various sexual preferences and nationalities from hosting on airbnb for the past 4 years). All I ask in a roommate is communication, especially a heads up if you want to bring a visitor or friend over (which I do the same, although no visitors to my apartment since Covid) and tidying up shared spaces after yourself.

If you are a couple the rent would be $1900 total to account for the additional utilities of 3 people using the apartment (electricity etc). Any questions let me know!
