Room in elevator building near prospect park

i! I’m looking for a roommate to move into the private second bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment located in the Flatbush neighborhood in Brooklyn. The room is available starting November 1st for a 1 or 2 year lease of a rent stabilized building. Your portion of the rent is $1320 per month, and internet/utilities usually run around $xx a month. This is an elevator building with laundry and an exercise room on the first floor. The apartment includes new kitchen appliances and a shared living space.

In general, I work a 9-to-5 in-office schedule. I am a respectful person who communicates well, looking for the same in a roommate. I tend to spend time relaxing in my room, reading a book, listening to a podcast or music, watching a tv show or movie, listening to music, or gaming with friends. Overall, I'm pretty laid-back, respectful, and easy to get along with. I think clear communication makes a huge difference in any living situation. I'd like us to establish some basic house rules early on so that we're both comfortable and can enjoy living together. My goal is to create a peaceful and respectful home.
