I'm a filmmaker and professor in my late 40s who has called Prospect Lefferts Gardens home for nearly eight years. My work often takes me away, but I'm now spending more time in the city and value creating a home that's peaceful, welcoming, and easy to live in.

I'm looking for someone to rent the furnished bedroom in my apartment beginning June 15. It would be a wonderful fit for someone who values flexibility, convenience, easy access to the city, and a quiet, comfortable place to land.

The bedroom is generously sized (approximately 14' x 17') with 9'+ ceilings and two windows overlooking Midwood Street. It comes slightly furnished with a queen-sized bed, nightstand, armoire, coffee table, and computer desk. The room is exceptionally quiet and stays well-heated during the winter months.

The apartment has a comfortable living room, a good-sized kitchen, some closet space, and an open, airy feel.

I'm looking for someone who is kind, communicative, financially stable, and respectful of shared spaces. Keeping a tidy home and maintaining a peaceful environment are important to me, and I'm hoping to find someone who values the same and can comfortably contribute to shared household essentials such as cleaning supplies and paper products.

One of the reasons I've stayed in Prospect Lefferts Gardens for so long is the neighborhood itself. Prospect Park, grocery stores, laundromats, cafés, bars, restaurants, and pharmacies are all nearby, and the apartment is just a 5-minute walk to the Q, B, and Shuttle trains.
