My name is Kaya (she/they) and I’m nonbinary, queer, and blasian. I’m a 22 year old Brooklyn native and a software engineer for work. I’m looking for someone to move in to my 3 bed 2 bath located in PLG/Crown Heights. My current roommate has to move out suddenly due to a family emergency, so the master bedroom and bathroom are available. The rent is $1,850 but I’m subletting on a month to month basis for a discounted price of $1,700. Move in date of November 1st.

APARTMENT/ROOM
The master bedroom (the available room) has a walk in closet, en suite bathroom with a deep soaker tub, and an AC unit included. I’ve been living here since July and I really love it so far - it’s nice and quiet, in a great location, and the neighbors are all super friendly! The room has 2 large south facing windows that let in a lot of natural light. I have the 2 smaller bedrooms and a separate bathroom. The apartment has a washer/dryer in unit, balcony, great kitchen, stainless steel appliances & dishwasher, and a video intercom system. Utilities are internet, electric, and cooking gas.
BUILDING
The building has an elevator, common roof top deck, gym, free laundry room with bigger machines, package room, and a garage that has parking (extra fee), Zipcars, and a free bike rack.
NEIGHBORHOOD
8 minute walk to the Q, B, S or an 11 minute walk to the 2,3,4,5. The B48, B43, and B41 bus lines are all within a 5 minute walk. Plus, there are 2 citi bike stations; one at each end of the block. Prospect park, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, and the Prospect Park Zoo all within a 10 minute walk. Lincoln Market, many other grocery stores, RiteAid, restaurants, all nearby.
