Large room available starting March 1st (can be flexible)for a 6 months-12months lease, in a newly renovated 2-bedroom apartment. Common space is very spacious and extremely bright for NYC standards, with a comfortable bathroom to share with only one other roommate. The apartment is located in a town house building offering washer and dryer (included in rent)., in a two story walk-up. Rate starts at $1450 contingent on factors including move-in date, duration, deposit, income, etc. Features to highlight are:

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The apartment is located in the popular neighborhood of Prospect Heights. It is full of top notch restaurants and coffee shops. The three main streets in the neighborhood where everything is happening - Washington Ave., Franklin Ave. and Vanderbilt Ave. are all with in 5 minute walking distance. We are a 15 minute walk to the world famous Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), the Brooklyn Museum, the Barclays Center., and Prospect. This part of the neighborhood is a mix of residence and warehouse so it is quiet at night but it remains safe.

THE ROOMATE:
You would be sharing the apartment with Lauren, a 27-year old graphic designer. She is quiet, unassuming, and kind. She is incredibly respectful of people and the space, and she is someone that keeps it organized and clean. She is easy going and you will not feel obligated to be her BFF.

The roommate that you would be replacing decided to move in with her partner after living here for 4 years.
