Hi! I’m Sheza, and my housemate Zach and I are looking for a third housemate to join our home in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

A little about us: Zach works in finance, I’m a fashion designer, and we’re both creative people outside of work — I play violin and Zach plays guitar. 🎻🎸 We’re both working professionals with pretty structured routines, and while we’re social people outside of the apartment, home is really our place to unwind, recharge, and have our own space.

We’ve really built our apartment into a home, and that’s the kind of environment we’d like to maintain. We’re clean, respectful, responsible, and generally pretty quiet.

We’re not looking to create a super-social roommate situation or a place where people are constantly coming and going. Every once in a while we might have a friend over or have a small get-together, but it’s occasional, respectful, and definitely not a party house.

Who we’re looking for

Ideally, we’d love someone who:

* Is a working professional with a fairly stable routine
* Is mature, responsible, and communicative
* Is very clean and considerate about shared spaces
* Is respectful of personal boundaries, privacy, and different beliefs/lifestyles
* Is relatively quiet and appreciates a calm home
* Doesn’t have people over constantly
* Understands that shared spaces need to be treated with care
* Is looking for a home, rather than simply a place to sleep between social plans

Honestly, we’re looking for more of a third housemate/homie than a traditional roommate. We respect each other’s boundaries and personal lives, communicate when something comes up, and generally just coexist really well. We’d love to find someone with a similar mindset.

We also have a cat, so being comfortable living with a furry little roommate is a must. 🐈

We do ask for at least one month’s notice before moving out, so everyone has enough time to plan accordingly.
