Fourth roommate for our drama-free, calm, sane, upscale, non-smoking, hypoallergenic apartment.

Location: Prime Park Slope building one block from Prospect Park; walking distance to 2, 3, Q, F trains, shops, services & restaurants.

Building: Pre-war, rent-stabilized third floor walk-up, one block from Prospect Park, near the Garfield St. entrance. All former roommates have loved living here.

Roommate Bedroom: Newly renovated 10 x 12 bedroom; unfurnished, 9ft ceiling, parquet wood floor, new plaster and paint, new radiator, one 7'tall window with screens, large built-in closet (largest closet in apartment). Upgrades include ceiling fan, window air conditioner, 1 G Ethernet connection, wall-mounted drying rack.

Shared Space: 9ft ceilings; solid construction with modern windows (built in screens), original parquet wood floors, fully furnished LR/DR with ceiling fan, window A/C, full media; Verizon FIOS 1GB Internet Service (Wi-Fi boosted so good coverage throughout), One full bath with claw foot tub, Kitchen with original double sink (plans for dishwasher); Washer/Dryer access possible.

Unlimited access to LR/DR - all roommates have TVs and work space in our respective bedrooms.

Monthly Rent and Bills $1,200.00 with "Bills" including all utilities, household supplies for basically everything but your food, including those supplies for the professional housekeeper who cleans the common rooms twice a month.

One month security deposit.

Available: March 1.

Term: A trial period to ensure a good fit for all parties is possible and then a long-term term roommate agreement will be arranged.

We are three mid-career professionals, one female and two males, and one docile, elderly female cat who likes people but is unable to co-exist with other pets.

You are a male who is easy-going but responsible, open-minded and non-prejudice when it comes to race, creed, color, sexual orientation, and alternative lifestyles, etc. and will be content bringing only what you need for your bedroom, knowing that the other spaces are fully furnished with nice things.

We have invested a great deal of time and effort to create and maintain a hypoallergenic home environment, as all members have allergies, (humidifiers, air-purifiers, anti-allergy cat food, carpet shampooing, housekeeper service, etc.) thus casual/recreational /outside-only smokers/vapers won’t work.

We enjoy socializing but take the party elsewhere. If you are into smoking/vaping/ boisterous partying, this is not the environment for you.

About the neighborhood. The apartment is located on a residential avenue in the Park Slope historic district between Union St. and 9th St. One block up the slope is Prospect Park's Long Meadow, between the Garfield St. and 3 St. entrances. The fabulous Saturday farmer's market is a short walk away, at Grand Army Plaza, just across from the Brooklyn Public Library, with the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and Brooklyn Museum nearby.

One block down the slope is everything from excellent huevos rancheros, to sushi, pizza, organic burgers, diner food, ice cream, and two French bakeries, as well as a pharmacy, hardware and housewares stores, the post office, and coffee shops, all between 1st and 3rd St. There are multiple gyms in the area, as well as the Park Slope YMCA with two pools. There are live music venues within the nearby neighborhood and 5th Ave. offers eateries from fine dining to bagel shops, Thai, bagels, Chinese, etc., as well as a Sunday farmer's market.
