Hello, we are looking for a new roommate to join us in out lovely Brooklyn apartment. The room has 2 closets, 2 windows, and measures 10.5 x 10.5.

I am in my mid-30s and am a student at the grad level. I work a few jobs and have a band. Most days I enjoy cooking, reading, exercise, and WQXR on in the background.

My roommate, also mid-30s, is in nursing school and working as an MA. She is into fitness and keeps to herself mostly.

The apartment is a comfortable, functional space. Our ideal roommate keeps to themselves, but isn't afraid to occasionally hang out in the kitchen or living room. We'd like someone who is past the days of heavy partying, or at least, doesn't bring the party home with them.

This is a no smoking apartment. 420 is OK.

We have a nice cozy living room, a functional and well appointed kitchen, and in unit laundry.

Utilities are separate from rent and include internet, gas, and power. Internet is $30 each. Gas is usually $8-10, and power fluctuates with use, rate, and season, typically running from $40-120 (during the summer). We also split the cost of a monthly toilet paper delivery, bi/tri monthly paper towel, dish soap, hand soap, and trash bags, and cleaning supplies; all are shared expenses with normally amount to no more and $20 a month.
