Beautiful big room with lots of light!

Hello friends,

We have a big, beautiful room with lots of natural light available for immediate move-in! It has high ceilings, and although there is no closet, it comes furnished with a dresser and clothing rack. The room is best for a heavier sleeper or someone who works fairly early in the mornings as it is next to the front door and kitchen. The three of us are considerate regarding noise levels, so no need to worry!

About us:
The current roommates are three women between the ages of 25 and 35, and would ideally be looking for another woman in that age range. We are all very considerate of each other and try to make sure everyone in the house feels comfortable and welcome.
While we are not necessarily “neat freaks” we do have a weekly cleaning schedule and everyone is conscientious about cleaning up after themselves and keeping the house presentable.
Maegan is an avid cyclist who rode over 5,000 miles in 2020! She loves to feed us and jokes that her alter ego is an 80 year old Italian grandmother. She has a Masters degree in Environmental Conservation and is currently working from home.
Madeline is a born and bred Virginian who works as both a nanny and a postpartum doula. When she’s not playing Mother Goose, you can find her working out, making jewelry, exploring NYC, and enjoying a glass of wine with friends.
Kayla is a third year med student from California who ….. has no hobbies because she’s a med student, LOL. She also likes pizza.
***My big fat sassy cat has been living with us the past few years, but she’s coming with me to my new home, so the girls are open to a new cat coming to live here.

You:
Our current roommates are all friendly, considerate and clean and are looking for someone similar to round out the house. Someone who is a people person, likes to go out once in a while, and appreciates the occasional game of Cards Against Humanity in the living room. Must have steady income of course and pay the rent and utilities on time.
Sorry but we are not drug friendly at the house.

The House:
The house is located in the very safe neighborhood of Kensington, about a block from the nightlife and fantastic food of Courtelyou Road. There is a grocery store and laundromat within 5 minutes of the house. The B, Q train is about a 10 minute walk and the F, G is about 15 minutes. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Target are about 20 minutes away by bus or train.
The house itself is three floors, with our section being the top two floors. Our area includes a large kitchen, a living room with beautiful bay windows, a funky yellow/gold bathroom, and four bedrooms. We have a nice patio off the kitchen and a shared backyard with bike storage.
