Spacious room in unique Brooklyn apartment

Looking to sublet my room Sept. 10 - Oct. 8. It?s $1500 for the full time frame or $400/wk and that includes all utilities/WiFi. I realize the dates are a little awkward so there is some flexibility. We have a spare room in the back if someone needed to arrive sooner and/or stay a little later than the specific dates I mentioned. It would be fine if you need a Sept. 1st move in date. Please reach out if at all interested, we can work something out/negotiate the price depending on your length of stay.

The bedroom itself is very spacious, fully furnished with a super comfy Queen sized bed and 3 large windows. There are blackout curtains so it stays dark while you are sleeping. The apartment has a large bathroom, amazing rooftop deck complete with grill and a washer/dryer in unit. Central air and heat as well. The spare room I mentioned has a TV with Roku and a futon for guests.

My one roommate is super chill and keeps to herself. I also have 2 delightful felines...no cat haters, please. We keep things tidy and civilized, we just ask you to be considerate in the shared space, clean up your messes and help take out garbage, etc. We like to have our fun but generally speaking, our home is calm and zen with the occasional hang on the roof.

We are right around the corner from the R train. One stop from express N/D and about 4 stops from Atlantic/Barclays where you can catch any number of trains. Easy to get around. Tons of restaurants and bars in the area. 2 grocery stores a block away in either direction. The stunning Greenwood Cemetery is two blocks away and Prospect Park is about 20min away on foot. (I have a bike I'm willing to let you use as well).

The apartment is fully furnished. I will certainly make space for you and your things in my room, clear out a dresser and some closet space, etc. but storage space is limited. So if you have bulky furniture, tons of clothes or gear of some sort, there will not be enough space for it here. This situation is ideal for someone new to NY while they look for something more permanent or maybe an actor coming to NY for the audition season or even a traveler looking to save on hotels. My roommate and I are both performers and this apartment is particularly great for creative people as there is lots of space and the rooms aren't on top of one another.
