VIEWINGS THIS WEEK! Two great rooms available in in a three-bedroom second-floor apartment in Greenpoint. You would join the 12-month lease from September 1st, 2026.

AREA: Next to beautiful McGolrick Park and a stone’s throw from great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, cute bodegas, and Met Fresh supermarket. Short walk to huge McCarren Park and the heart of Williamsburg. Quiet and safe. Friendly neighbours.

TRANSIT: Nassau Ave G is a 5-10 minute walk away. One stop change to L at Metropolitan-Lorimer, or a 20 min walk to L at Bedford Ave. Subway takes 20-30 mins to Manhattan. 3 stops from Queens (Court Sq) and G/L go all over Brooklyn.

shared living space (unfurnished),
nice kitchen with large fridge-freezer, lots of storage space, dishwasher
good-sized bathroom with toilet and bath/shower shared by the two rooms.

THE ROOMS:
Room 1. ($1,590) Bright cosy room. Lots of sunlight. Fits a single or full size bed (not included). There is an L-shaped desk we can keep or sell.
Room 2. ($1,720) Large room with two windows and lots of storage space. Fire escape. Not furnished.

BILLS: Rent does not include monthly utility bills (Con Ed, National Grid and Wifi) Varies based on usage but normally around $80 each.

SHARING WITH: I’m a journalist from the UK (male, 40) reporting on climate change and politics. I often work from home but also out a lot working in coffee shops. I keep regular 9-5 hours. I live in the apartment’s third room which has its own small bathroom. I like books, music, art and culture, making people laugh, walking around New York etc.

LOOKING FOR: Housemates make a home! Friendly and considerate people who like a mixture of doing their own thing and hanging out.
Peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. Not a party house, no loud TV/music please.
Opportunity to furnish apartment together to suit our tastes to make it feel like a home. (chairs, table, couch, plants, shelves, pictures etc.)
No preference male or female, though a gender mix would be nice. LGBTQ+ of course welcome.
