About the Apartment:

I’ve lived in Greenpoint for 10 years and in this apartment for the last 8, so it’s a very comfortable and established home.

The apartment is a non-railroad, raised first-floor unit. You get first-floor convenience without being on ground level. There is an obnoxious amount of natural light to the point where I rarely ever turn anything on. When I do, it’s all warm, ambient lighting and very much an overheads and high hat free zone. The private backyard is exclusive to this apartment.

In peak millennial fashion, I share my dog with my ex, so he’s with me on a part-time basis. He’s a 13-year-old Boston Terrier, extremely sweet, quiet, and mostly naps. He loves people, but no additional pets are allowed.

Fit / Lifestyle:

The apartment meshes best with someone who isn’t home full-time. I’m generally looking for someone with an active routine outside the apartment so the space feels balanced for both of us.

The apartment is fully furnished and well-stocked, so it’s ideal for someone traveling light or okay with keeping extra belongings in off-site storage (something I do myself).

About Me

I’m clean and considerate in shared spaces, and I’ve noticed over the years that people can have very different definitions of “clean.” Because of that, it’s easier for me to keep a routine cleaner or occasional deep clean in the mix so the space stays feeling good for both of us.

I have a full life in Greenpoint with friends, a gym, and hobbies, so I’m not home a ton myself. I like to read (and scroll TikTok), and I watch everything from critically-acclaimed series to Bravo. I have range!

I’ve had lovely experiences with roommates, and I’m open to being social when it feels natural or simply living respectfully side-by-side like two adults who enjoy feeling like they live alone. Whatever feels right is great, as long as we’re considerate and look out for each other when it counts.

I’ve lived with both men and women before, so I’m open to any gender. It’s really just about the right fit.
