Quite, Spacious Room for Rent in Greenpoint

Move in Date: Looking for someone to move in at or before June 15, 2020 with a desire to stay long term.

Location/Building: 3 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom large apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with 1 room available. This is a nice 3 story walk-up apartment with only 3 apartments in the building (2nd floor apartment). The apartment is in a great location next to a park. ~10min walk from the Nassau (G subway) stop. Additionally there is a bus stop directly around the corner from the apartment which can drop you off directly at the Nassau G subway stop.

Apartment/Room: One of my roommates moved out to live with her boyfriend. You will be sharing the bathroom with one roommate (30 yr old female teacher) - the other roommate (me) has a private bathroom. All rooms have Mitsubishi high wall AC units and gas heat. The closet in the room is very big. The room is not street facing so it is very quite. Brand new washer and dryer in the unit, dishwasher, nice kitchen appliances, and video door buzzer.

Price: $1225/month

Washer/Dryer Deposit: $500 (Brand new washer and dryer in the unit recently purchased by the tenants - you must pay deposit towards the washer and dryer which you can pass on to the next tenant if you move out). Believe me it is worth the luxury of having it.

Deposit: $1225

Utilities: ~$30-$75/month (usually higher in the winter) = gas, electric, internet

Furnishing Price: Bed frame, mattress, and drawers below bed are free for you to have if you would like them.

Background Check: Background check will be required by landlord as well.

Lease: The lease is up in August. Preferably looking for someone to move in now and sign for the next year as well.

Looking For: Looking for a clean young professional to fill the room. Someone who has similar interests and would occasionally like to grab some drinks at a local bar after work / weekends would be cool, but if you are just looking for a place to stay that works too. We have 1 male (me) and 1 female (other roommate) currently living in the apartment so open to a man or woman for the room.

Roommates: I am a sales engineer who enjoys grabbing drinks with friends, trying out new restaurants, playing soccer, and indoor rock climbing. The other roommate is a teacher. She is extremely friendly and outgoing.
