Peaceful Private Bedroom

Hello, we are looking for a female roommate for our spare bedroom. We live on the second floor of a private house in Gravesend (Brooklyn). The room is 12? x 8 ft. with two large windows overlooking a backyard. The room is available furnished or unfurnished. The room, as is, has a twin bed, drawers, closet, air conditioner, night stand and chair. We would share the kitchen, bathroom and living room.

My daughter and I are seeking a full-time professional woman who like us is busy yet friendly. We have two caged guinea pigs. Most of our socializing is done outside our home. Because I have a daughter we would prefer a female who will not be having male overnight guests and we can offer you the same peace of mind. We would love to find someone who is tidy, considerate and friendly. The neighborhood is very safe. We are a 10 minute walk from both the D and N train lines. There are also many restaurants, a post office, library, grocery and shopping nearby.

The rent is $850 which includes use of the washer and dryer in the apartment. We would split the utility bills (electricity, gas and Wifi). We require first month rent and a month of security. We will need copies of two pay stubs, credit report, ID and two references (personal and/or work). We are open to short (three month) and longer (one year) term rental agreements.
