Seeking a third roommate for a sublease in a very spacious 3 bed-2 bath duplex apartment in the Gowanus / Park Slope area. The duplex occupies the entire ground floor and first floor levels of a pre-war brick house.

I am the sole leaseholder with my current lease going until the end of October, but I am planning to resign and an looking for someone to stay for a minimum of 6 months (preferably longer).

The available room measures 13 ft by 10 ft (pictured in the first photo) and the rent / security deposit is $1300. While the room does not have any windows of its own, it has quite cheep rent for the neighborhood and is in a truly great apartment.

You’d be sharing the apartment with two roommates: 29M working at a climate nonprofit and 25F working at the ACLU. We are looking for a responsible, clean, and kind roommate. Utilities are around $200 per month, split evenly three ways.

There’s a big, fully private backyard space–which will be great to have as it continues to warm up. The kitchen is large with ample room for cooking / storage and has a dishwasher. There is also a cozy living room adjacent to the kitchen.

We’re a block away from the R train, a 10-15 minute walk from the G and F trains, 5 min from Whole Foods, and 15-20 min from Prospect Park.
