I’m looking for a roommate to join the apartment starting November 1st. The apartment is located in Fort Greene and is a rent-stabilized, top-floor apartment in a 4-story walk-up.

The apartment has some great conveniences, including an in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and rooftop access. Fort Greene Park is about a 3-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, and other everyday conveniences nearby, including Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

The Room

The bedroom is unfurnished, so you can set it up however you’d like. There is enough space for a queen-size bed, large desk, dresser, and additional furniture. The room also has a spacious built-in closet.

The apartment is a good fit for someone who enjoys a quiet, clean, and peaceful living environment.

Location

There are several subway and bus options within a short distance, including the A, B, C, D, G, N, R, Q, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains, as well as the B54, B38, and B62 buses. There is also a nearby Citi Bike station.

Rent & Requirements

The monthly rent for the room is $1,100.

The new roommate will need to meet the building’s standard rental requirements, including proof of income of approximately 40x the annual rent.

The rental manager will request:

* Last 3 bank statements
* Last 3 pay stubs
* Most recent tax return
* Copy of a valid photo ID
* $20 credit report fee
