Posting to help my roommate as I’m sadly leaving this beautiful apartment in Fort Greene after 3 years! She will be staying, a new tenant is lined up for room 2, and we are hoping to fill this room ASAP (move in 12/8)
About The Apartment: The apartment is a very spacious 3 bed 1 bath with central AC/heat. The kitchen has a gas range and stove, microwave, and fridge and all appliances are in great condition. The house is on a corner so we get tons of natural light throughout, with windows on all four sides of the building. No upstairs neighbors!
It is located 2 blocks from Fort Greene Park in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. There are tons of great restaurants and bars nearby as well as a lovely Farmer’s Market in the park each Saturday morning.
The common space is mostly fully furnished, but can fit a 2nd couch or additional seating. *Important note: the unit will be getting in-unit laundry in December! The landlord will coordinate installation with us once new roommates are settled in. Until then, there are 3 laundromats very close by.
About The Room: Can fit a queen or full sized bed + additional furniture, with a full sized closet!
Your future roommate: “I am a 30 year old, creative professional (photographer) who has lived in this neighborhood for the past 3 years. I work in-office/studio 4-5 days a week, and am very clean / tidy and great about keeping up shared spaces (& looking for the same)! I have a small cat, Phoebe (pictured) who prefers to be the one and only - so no additional pets please! In my free time, I love reading in the park, going to the farmers market, doing yoga, and riding my bike. I’d love to be friends with my roommates and I’m always down for a dinner, movie night, coffee outing etc. but am also fine if you’d prefer to keep to yourself
About You: Looking for people who are quiet, clean and respectful. Cleanliness and communication are very important as we have always kept a very tidy common space.
Lease Terms: As we’re doing a changeover (with an extension we had requested), this lease will run from December 8th 2025 - December 31 2026. Rent will be $5,100/month split 3 ways (before utilities) which comes to $1,700 per person. Due to the start date of this lease term, the prorated rent for Dec will be $1602 per person with the Dec 8th move in date.
Public Transit: 14 min walk to Dekalb [B, Q, R] 15 min walk to Fulton [G] 15 min walk to Lafayette [A, C] 18 min walk to Jay St [A, C, F] 18 min walk to Hoyt [2, 3] 18 min walk to Nevins [2, 3, 4, 5]
*There are several bus lines that pick up very close to the apartment. The B54 specifically picks up right out front, and can quickly get you to Dekalb and Jay St!*
