Move in week August 1, WAY BELOW MARKET for the area! (google avg rent for 2 bedroom Ft. Greene/Clinton Hill) LIVE or STAY IN BROWNSTONE BROOKLYN! FANTASTIC FT. GREENE!! One of the most coveted areas to live in Brooklyn!
Your share of rent includes, electricity, wifi, heat, hot water. Full size Fridge and Stove/ Oven in Kitchen living area.
Well sized 10x8 private br w, Very comfy full sized bed (it can fit a queen snugly), Current roommate says bed is so comfortable it makes it hard to be productive b/c it's so comfortable to bed rot in!

large closet in room and ancillary closet in hall in addition designated for you (tho that is where the small air conditioner for that room will be stored in the cooler months. in 2br apt, Near everything!

Greenspaces- Across the street from a cute park (Cuyler Gore) and a community garden around the block, famous Ft. Greene park 7 min walk away!

Transportation-12 min train ride to Manhattan! C train Lafayette ave one block away, G train a 5 min walk (Fulton street stop). Atlantic Ave-Barclay's center station D, N, Q, R,2,3,4,5 and LIRR, BAM, Theatre for a new audience... all 8-10 min walk.
20 min walk or 10 min bus ride to Pratt. 4 bus lines within one block of apt, Easy access to Downtown Bklyn, City Walk, Dekalb Market, Trader Joe's, Bklyn Pier, Bklyn Navy Yard, Prospect Heights, BoCoCo.

Me- early 40s guy born and raised in NYC! A Unicorn, I know! Friendly and funny and considerate and very LGBTQ+ friendly but kinda does my own thing socially. Cooks a lot and always looking to share my culinary successes! Puerto Rican and Italian food along with soul food are my strong areas. Works from home in Ed Tech.

-No pets (tho I love animals)
-No smoking or smokers of ANY kind or any substance (That smell is too much). You wanna be chill w/ gummies and brownies and stuff? No prob, I get it and I'm with it, it's just the smell of smoked stuff, that I can't deal with (aside from smoked salmon or ribs, ha!)

-No couples (y'all can fight and break up in your own space),
-No work from home. (I will consider hybrid) as I already work from home and the place ain't that big.
Proof of employment required (pay stubs) and how long you've been working in the position/ company/ whatever.

Time of roommate agreement- Min 6 months and willing to do a 1 yr agreement. 1st and 1 month deposit required for move in. Deposit required for me to hold room for you. Looking forward to meeting you! Will consider parental co signers for agreement if you have more recent employment.
