One Bedroom in sunny, spacious apartment

Bedroom available in beautiful apartment steps away from Fort Greene park. My current beloved roommate had to move on short notice so I am hoping to find someone to take over her spot. The bedroom is fully furnished with one custom designed wardrobe that could be adjusted to your needs. The apartment is newly renovated with all new appliances including dishwasher and washer/dryer in the unit. The common living space has a lot of natural light. I have just moved into this as a permanent home and am fixing it up as I go. My sister's family live in the apartment downstairs.

A little about myself: I am a teacher who works from 6am-7pm on weekdays during the school year. On weekends, I like to mix it up between time with friends and family (either at home or out) and quiet evenings with a book and something bubbling on the stove. During the summer, I am frequently traveling and might be open to short term rentals. I like to keep the common areas neat and hygienic as a rule. I also like to be friendly with the person I live with while maintaining healthy boundaries. Things like cooking a meal together every once in a while, a friendly chat in the evenings, and open honest discussions when necessary.

I am looking for a female roommate who has a similar work schedule and approach to co-habitation.
I usually shower at night (in case sharing the bathroom in the morning is a problem). I like to have people over every once in a while but I keep early evenings on school nights. If you have a steady partner, I am down for the occasional sleepover.

I am open to dogs. My sister is terribly allergic so no cats.
