Large, Bright Room With 2 Closets

Large, furnished room with a king size bed, monthly rent is $1200 all in, available February 15th. There are 2 closets and a clothes rack, there is also an AC and TV. It has hard wood floors, a large 5 drawer dresser, 2 spacious night stands & a steamer trunk for storage. There is also a bookcase with 6 shelves & a small desk, with 4 lamps. There is enough room for a small sofa or chair.
The apartment is on the top floor of an elevator building and it has GREAT views of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. The living room is divided in half with a curtain that separates my bedroom (it is not a 2 bedoom, it didn't have 1 bedroom as a choice), half is private and half is shared. The bathroom and kitchen are shared. The bathroom has a big, old, comfy cast iron bathtub and it has been renovated.
I prefer a roommate that doesn't drink much. No smoking.
I have a small dog that is very friendly and likes to play fetch. Keever is sweet and well trained.
The building is on a cul-de-sac with trees and a grass meridian down the middle. It is 1 block from the Q Train at Avenue H and the express Q/B stop at Newkirk Plaza is 6 blocks away.
Di Fara's which considered some of the best pizza in Brooklyn is a few blocks away. Sunday there is the Cortelyou Road Farmer's Market and there are great restaurants on Coney Island Avenue & Cortelyou Road.  I'm located 3 blocks from the back of Brooklyn College and it's 25 minutes by subway to lower Manhattan.

The deposit is $1200 + 1st month's rent $1200 to move in. Proof of income, credit check and references required. It can be prorated, I'm flexible on move in date. I'm looking for some to stay for a minimum of 8 months.
