One room in my 2-bedroom apartment is open for the summer beginning May 1, 2018. Great for professionals visiting New York for work, internships or school.
The apartment is pretty big. (The floor plan is 35 feet by 25 feet, so that's 875 square feet total, which is average or slightly above for the Ditmas Park neighborhood, which has great housing.) And it's close to transit, to Cortelyou Road ? great restaurants ? and to Brooklyn College.
The room is 11x13 feet with a pretty big closet. My room's on one end of the apartment and the other is on the opposite end. Shared bathroom, which is pretty much the only drawback :/ But I'm an 8/10 regarding cleanliness. I cook a lot. So please be considerate and relatively clean too ? that's my only big requirement, that you clean up after yourself!
I'm a mid-career professional working in government downtown. I came to NYC a few years ago for grad school and stayed. Non-smoker, social but not a partier.
