Open Room in Williamsburg - 9/1 or earlier move-in

Looking for someone to take over a room in 2 bed 1 bath apartment. Lease is for September 1st but you can move in earlier on a sublease if wanted.

Room is pretty spacious for the neighborhood IMO. Can fit a queen-sized bed and a desk and comes with a closet. There is central AC and dishwasher in the unit. Unit also has a small balcony, currently unfurnished. Laundry is in building, 2 washers and 2 dryers costs 2.75 to wash 2.25 to dry. Building also has a small gym on the second floor. There is a separate door code for both the building and individual unit. Building has an elevator and rooftop hangout area. My previous roommate took the dining table when they moved out so I still need to replace that.

Apartment is less than 5 minute walk from both the Grand and Montrose stop off the L. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the area.

I’m a professional in my late twenties working in tech. I am clean, respectful and value communication with those I am living with and would like to live someone that has those same values. In my free time I like to run, play board games and video games, make music, and go to restaurants and bars with my friends/partner.

I am queer friendly and am happy to live with any gender. I work fully remote, so I will be at home a lot but will mostly be in my room during work hours. I don’t necessarily need to be friends with the person I am living with but am always open to being friends if it works out!
