East Williamsburg ISO Roommate for 8/1!

Hi! My name is Shelby and I am a 23 y/o graduate student at SUNY Optometry looking for a female roommate (preferably early/mid 20s, even better if grad student) starting 7/31/2026 for a minimum 1 year lease. I am very clean and would like someone who can stick to a cleaning schedule with me (cleaning at least once a week) + priorities respect & clean shared spaces. I would also like to be friends with my future roomie (hopefully)!

About the apartment/area:
- $1500/month not including utilities (utilities ~$105/month)
- 2BR 1Bath
- Room is unfurnished and can fit a full sized bed. No closet in room
- Central AC and heating!
- In-building laundry unit (or 2 min walk to laundromat)
- Food Bazaar 7 minute walk
- First floor apt with frosted privacy tint on windows and bars
- Super close (10 min walk at most) to M/J, G, and L lines (about 4 stops to Manhattan!)

About me:
I am a 2nd year optometry graduate student who loves drawing, playing video games, finding free activities in NYC. I sleep around 12-2am. I am very clean, respectful of private spaces, communicative, and hoping to be friendly with new roommate. Pretty introverted when home and I do not bring people over often. I like to cook so I use the kitchen often.
