We will have a bedroom available in a large 3-bedroom, 1-bath basement apartment, for a working-class person, in East New York which will be available on February 1st.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There are three other males living here so we prefer a male roommate. We just recently remodeled the kitchen, living room and large backyard.

THE ROOM: Large (15’x8’) includes a full-width closet with sliding doors, a full-sized bed and a dresser. You will need to bring your own blankets, bed linens and pillows.

RENT: $650.00 per month which includes all utilities including wi-fi

SECURITY: $650.00 security deposit which you will get back when you move out providing there is no excessive damage.
There is a non-refundable $45 background/credit check fee

TERM: Month-to-month (you are required to sign a roommate agreement).

SMOKING/DRUGS/DRINKING: We have a non-smoking apartment and prefer someone who, like us, is a non-smoker, does not use drugs and not a drinker (social is OK, excessive is not).

LAUNDRY: Though there is no laundry in the building, we do have three others nearby within a 10-minute walk.

TRANSPORTATION: We are 3 blocks away from the #3 train (New Lots Avenue stop) and about 5 blocks from the “C” train. You can also catch, on the corner, the B15 bus which goes from JFK to Woodhull Hospital.

You will share the bathroom and kitchen (must clean up as soon as finished cooking).
