$750 room in Crown Heights!

Hi! I'm moving out NYC and need a person to takeover my lease on this amazing apartment. The lease will go from whenever you sign (ideally early September) to July 31, 2027 with the possibility of resigning if you'd like. The deposit is $750. Utilities come out to $30-50 a month, if that. We might also get free wifi in the coming weeks so it may be even lower.

For the location, this apartment is such a deal. We're right across from the Union Market on Bedford Avenue. And a short walk from Franklin Av subway station, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Central Library, and so much more.

The building is owned by a sweet family who lives on the first and second floor. There are only 4 tenants in this pre-war building which means we have no neighbors below us or to the side of us! The room is very quiet - the apartment layout makes it so that you don't share a wall with any of the roommates!

The Roommates
You'll have two roommates. Both are in their mid/late-20s.

One works in youth food education and is also a graduate student.

The other is a PhD student in Chemistry.

Both are out of the house during work hours and are so kind and fun.

The apartment
The apartment has 4 rooms and 1 bathroom, along with a living room and kitchen.

We each have our own rooms and share the bathroom. But we have never had a problem with bathroom access and keep it clean.

The room is small, but it can comfortably fit a twin or full bed and all your belongings. It's best for someone who is not home all day.

There is an extra office room that you will share with one other roommate. There is an extra closet for storage, a nice desk, and just a good area for any hobbies you may have (drawing, music) or doing yoga/working out.

The common area and kitchen all furnished and equipped with everything you will need.
