Rent is $843.50 per month, plus utilities, which usually run about $50–$120/month depending on season. One month’s security deposit is required. The room will be unfurnished, fits a full or queen bed, includes a closet, and an A/C compatible window. The apartment has three bathrooms in total; this vacancy includes access to a semi-private bathroom, with a separate bathroom serving as the main for shared use. The apartment also includes a roof, separate living room, gas stove and dishwasher, in-building laundry, and is about a 5-minute walk from the 3 line and 10-minute walk from the C line.
You would be living with 4 adults in their mid to late 30s and one minor (the minor being a polite and curious orange cat. Meow.). The apartment is sufficiently social but not a party hub, with varied schedules that lean commuter and hybrid. We try to keep the common areas clean enough that no one has to “reset” the space before use.

Please be comfortable with a rotating garbage disposal schedule, twice monthly household meetings, direct but respectful communication, and reasonable quiet after about 11:00 PM on weeknights. Occasional guests are fine; long duration overnight guests or using the apartment as a regular gathering spot would probably not be a good fit.
Smokers and social drinkers are welcome; however, heavy alcohol usage in shared spaces and smoking indoors is restricted to maintain a supportive environment for a roommate in recovery. Large pets are not preferred because of the existing household setup, but please mention any animal-related needs when reaching out so we can discuss compatibility and logistics. People of all sexual proclivities and gender identities are welcome to apply.
The arrangement would be handled through a co-tenant lease agreement, subject to landlord approval where required. Basic financial viability for rent, deposit, and utilities will be confirmed before finalizing. No broker fee.
Our landlord ideally seeks 4 recent pay stubs and 2 recent bank statements from candidate (with yearly income of $40,000+) or candidate's guarantor.
If applying with a guarantor, however, our landlord expects the guarantor to be able to show at least $200,000 in U. S. based assets.
