The apartment is in Crown Heights, a few minutes from the 2, 3, and 5 trains. If you are going into Manhattan, I am able to get to Chelsea/Midtown in around 35-45 minutes depending on the traffic. I can get a little above Central Park in around an hour. The apartment is a third floor walk up and has individual AC/heating units, a dishwasher, and a washer and dryer in unit. The room being offered is just about 9'×10' and has a closet and its own full bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. The rent is $1,475 per month, including certain utilities. The space behind our building is a children's playground, and the area is otherwise quiet with birds singing in the morning. We are within close proximity to Prospect Park, which we visit frequently, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, as well as the Brooklyn Museum. Additionally, we are close to a LIDL that just opened up alongside various well-known fast-food locations.

Me and my roommate are both entering the last year of our respective current degrees and spend a great deal of time outside the apartment or working inside. We are unable to accommodate cats. We do not personally smoke and do not accommodate people who smoke inside. We generally do not have gatherings, but are comfortable with discussing on a case by case basis. We bake pretty consistently and enjoy putting on a movie or show in the background while working or to unwind to after the day is over.
