Short furnished sublet late June - late July

Ideally June 26-July 25 but exact dates flexible. Full month would be $977 + bills. Closest to Kingston-Throop C. Near Brower Park, Super Foodtown, all essentials. Two roommates, furnished & clean living/ kitchen/br. Room has full bed, big desk, closet, sunny windows.

Your room: Comes furnished with full bed frame/mattress, big desk, clothing storage. I’ll need to store some of my own belongings under the bed. Big south-facing windows with accessible fire escape. Plenty of floor space to put a yoga mat down in bedroom or hallway. I’m fairly sensitive to noise but haven’t had any issues - your room faces the backyard (no access).

Apartment: $977/month + security + electric/gas/wifi, which has been up to $120ish/month pp in summer, paid upfront. Central air, dishwasher, paid laundry in building’s basement, unofficial roof access. Third floor walk up. Living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all furnished but you’re welcome to bring small stuff. While your bedroom gets plenty light, the common spaces do not. We have not had any significant issues with the apartment or landlord yet, maintenance requests are handled fairly quickly.

Roommates: You will be with two respectful roommates, both mid-late 20s focused on completing their PhDs, who would like to maintain a friendly and communicative environment. QTBIPOC friendly, leftist/progressive politics. They are down for casual gatherings / small parties every so often, but would prefer someone who wants the shared space to primarily be a peaceful refuge from our busy lives outside. Overnight guests in the living room are welcome with advance notice.

Neighborhood: Crown Heights North historic district. 6 min walk to Kingston-Throop C train (express A at Nostrand a bit further), 10 min to LIRR, lots of buses within 1-10 min. Near Brower Park / Library, massive supermarket, gym, all essentials. Directly across the street from a school. Mostly residential area but good restaurants/bars within 15 min radius.
