The Basics:

Private room in a 2-bedroom apartment in Crown Heights with Jan 1 move-in. Rent is $1,400/month on a year-long lease. You’ll be sharing the apartment with me (Julia) and my cat, Toulouse! Laundry in the building, close to A/C trains, multiple bus routes, and a Citi Bike dock right outside.

The Room:

Room is 13’5” x 7’8”, with two large windows, a generous closet, and access to the fire escape. It’s in the back of the apartment, so it’s quiet and gets nice afternoon and evening light. Option to come semi-furnished with a full bed (the armoire in photos will be gone).

The Apartment:

It’s a solid, cozy and comfortable space I’ve enjoyed living in for a few years. It's furnished with a cozy couch, big TV, kitchen island with storage, and all the essentials (including a DrinkMate and Ninja Creami!). It’s a 2-bedroom, 1-bath with a shared living room and kitchen.

The Building:

Small, quiet building with a live-in super and laundry in the basement. There’s also an affordable wash-and-fold spot around the corner for when life gets hectic.

The Neighborhood:

Located in Crown Heights, just a short walk to the Utica Ave A/C trains (under 10 minutes), and right by the B15 and B65 bus lines. Easy access to the B25, B46, and B43. Citi Bike station right outside.

About You:

Ideally you are clean or clean-ish and enjoy a comfortable, relaxed home. I want the space to feel cozy, creative, and lived in. I would love to share a meal or show sometimes, but I also respect each other’s space if needed. Preferably female and/or queer, late 20s to 30s. No additional pets unfortunately. Looking for one roommate only.

About Me:

Hi! I'm Julia (29). I work in pet care around Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy so am often out and about Brooklyn hanging out with kitties. when I am not working, I love crafting, cooking and baking, walks, and cozy nights in.

About Toulouse:

Toulouse is my 14-year-old cat. She’s a sweet, sleepy old lady who loves naps, evening zoomies, and the occasional cuddle. She’s fully my responsibility, but you’ll need to be a cat lover so she feels the love too.

Landlord requirements: Income 40x rent, credit score 700+, guarantors allowed.
