Renovated Room Available in Crown Heights
Located in the heart of Crown Heights, we're a recently renovated apartment with in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and central air/heat. This room is 11' by 10’ (100 sqf of usable space) with a garden view and fire escape access! We have a cozy shared common space and fully stocked kitchen. We are a 1.5-story walk-up in a very small and quiet apartment building. Three bedrooms, one bath.
The unit gets tons of natural light, with this room having a southern- and western-facing window. Currently, the room has a closet, wardrobe, full full-sized bed, and desk. All furniture is available for sale. Please note that the current bed frame is a different full-sized frame with room for under-bed storage.
On Nostrand Avenue, we’re right between the 3 and A/C Nostrand Ave stations, and in walking distance to the 2/4/5.
Move-in date is available as soon as November 1 with prorated rent for a mid-November move-in. However, the new lease would run from December 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026.
You'd be living with two considerate and clean people (two women, aged 26 and 27) who love to read and bake! Leonor and I are working professionals who value kindness and communication. We prefer a quieter household on work nights, but guests and friends are welcome with advance notice. Non-smoking and no pets.
I've been in the apartment for two and a half years and cannot recommend the area enough, with its green spaces and vibrant community. We're near countless restaurants, coffee shops, and community spaces!
Utilities are not included, but come out to around $110 a month ($20 for Internet, $10 for gas, $8.33 for water, and $40-70 for electricity, varying throughout the seasons).
About us!
My name is Cameron (she/her) and I am a 26 year-old professional in Higher Education Development who has lived in the apartment for two and a half years! I am a huge nerd and baker by day and enjoyer of board games and music by night. I work a hybrid schedule (in the office Tuesday through Thursday) and am often out socializing. I consider myself fairly neat and organized, but mainly value respect and communication above all else. Chore charts are fantastic, but sometimes we need to support each other on a bad week!
My name is Leonor (she/her), I’m 27, and I’ve lived in the apartment since May. I work full-time in-person as a bookseller from Tuesdays to Saturdays on the Upper East Side, and if I’m not home or at work, I am probably at the movies. Our living room bookshelf is overflowing with my somewhat excessive library of books in English, French, and Portuguese, from which any roommate is welcome to borrow. And I can attest to Cameron’s excellent baking skills!
Rental requirements:
An application with the management company is due by early November. They will require paystubs, rental history, bank statements, tax returns, and a credit score. Guarantors are allowed, both in and out of state.
First month's rent and a security deposit ($2,300 total) are required. Please contact me for a tour either in person or via FaceTime!
