Month-to-month. Room has a bed and some furniture. Ideal for someone with little or no furniture. Room does not come with an AC and will likely need to be purchased. Utilities split average $60-70 per person.

No pets. No smoking. No vaping.

Large bedroom, 120 Sq ft room. Common spaces all have high ceilings. Thoughtfully furnished by a designer/architect (don't bring your own common space furniture).

Large windows/skylight in common spaces with tons of natural light. Fantastic place to cook. Fully stocked kitchen (don't bring your own set of appliances). Cozy backyard. Mudroom and basement available for storage. No laundry in building but fantastic laundromat half a block away.

Easy ground floor bike parking, easy biking to Manhattan and the rest of Brooklyn. Only a few blocks walk to idyllic Carroll Gardens. 15 min walk/protected bike lane to Brooklyn Bridge Park. 12 min walk to Carroll F/G subway stop. B61 bus to go to Downtown BK or Red Hook stops right outside. 15 min bus or 20 min train to NYU Tandon.

Good place for students to study. Students are welcome.

We treat our home as a calm place to refuel and recharge in between long days. EG headphones worn in common space, quiet after 10 pm and guests are seldom (eg dinner with a couple friends, watching a movie). If we want to go wild and party with pals we mainly do that outside of the apartment, appropriately taking advantage of the wealth of NYC options instead of being disruptive at home and spoiling other people's downtime.

We are looking for someone who is independent, self-motivated and busy with their own pursuits outside of the apartment. Must be considerate of others and cleans up after themselves. We aim to maintain a place of peace and rest to benefit everyone, necessary for everyone to succeed in their lives.
