This room is suitable for a responsible female who likes to live in a quiet place with no drama. The pictures from downstair’s in the duplex include a large shared kitchen, common area, and a private bathroom for whoever is renting the room. There is a washer/dryer.
The location is excellent. There is access to many trains. The F train, G train, 4&5 trains, the 2&3 trains, and the N&R trains are all in walking distance. Cobble hill is very close to downtown Manhattan. There are lots of shops and restaurants, health clubs, as well as a Trader Joe’s two blocks away. This building is located on a lovely, treelined street, in a neighborhood that is one of the safest in Brooklyn. There are also some lovely parks nearby and a new small cafe across the street.
The room has been recently repainted. There is a desk, a dresser, a spacious closet and lots of built in shelves. The mattress was purchased last October by the woman who has not been here very much. When she leaves, by her request, the very nice memory foam mattress will stay.
A little about me: I am a a visual artist and an acoustic musician. I work a day job in a high school for arts. I like to come home to a quiet space. My studio is upstairs where I like to spend time and cherish my privacy. I also have a small sewing room on the farther side of the duplex downstairs off the the kitchen and we can talk about access to the backyard. There's also a little patio area ouside in front of the house with a small table and two chairs. I am very respectful of other people's space and easy to get along with.
Please, no smokers, parties, or drugs. This is a peaceful place for someone who is either studying in college or working. The rent I am asking is 1950, plus one month’s security, and all utilities are included. There is wifi as well. I look forward to hearing from you.
