Beautiful room with a view in Cobble Hill

Seeking a female, non-smoker, neat and clean roommate to share my wonderful two bedroom furnished apartment, located in beautiful Cobble Hill Brooklyn.

I'm looking for a considerate roommate who takes pride in keeping a shared home comfortable, clean, and welcoming. I value someone who takes natural initiative around the apartment, whether that means taking out the trash when it’s full, flipping off the lights and AC when leaving the home, or noticing the little things that keep a space running smoothly. Mutual respect and clear communication are key to making a place feel like a true home, so I’d love to live with someone warm, communicative, and human-oriented who enjoys a friendly "hi" and "bye" as we come and go. If you are responsible, proactive, and appreciate a harmonious, well-cared-for environment, we’ll be a great fit!

The apartment includes an in-unit washer/dryer, a renovated kitchen with dishwasher/microwave, a renovated bathroom, a living-room skylight that brings in great natural light all day, hardwood floors, exposed brick, air-conditioning in every room, and an accessible roof deck with gorgeous views of Manhattan.
The bedroom has a closet and is furnished with a full bed, dresser and night table. The apartment is on a beautiful and quiet tree-lined street with a supermarket, bodega and dry cleaners at the corner. The main stretch of Cobble Hill is two blocks away with fantastic restaurants, shops, and cafes galore! The F/G trains are a five-minute walk away, and the 1/2/3/4/5/6/N/Q/R are a 12-minute walk away. Other nearby attractions include Brooklyn Bridge Park, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. I plan on being away for about 3/4 months every year. During that time you will have the apartment all to yourself. Street parking

I am a retired attorney and lead a very active life. I dance tango several evenings a week, go on long walks, play tennis, and go to the gym several times a week.
