Hello! My dear roommate is moving in with his partner so looking for someone to fill his spot. Move in date 9/1 with the lease ending 3/1 with option to renew. Rent is $1850 per month plus utilities (electric/internet/gas avg. 50-125 per month pending the season), and a deposit of $1500.

About the apartment: Fully furnished living room and kitchen with dining table thats filled with plants and natural light made possible by two amazing skylights in the kitchen and dining area. Open to changing the space with things you would like to bring in and make it yours too. Rooms are on opposite sides of the apartment so plenty of privacy with the kitchen and living areas in between. The living room has a wall of exposed brick and beautiful wood ceiling beams with a projector for movie night or whatever you are binging these days. It's a 4th floor walkup but that means no noisy neighbors above! Roof access up a ladder for those warmer days with a good view of the city.

The room is a large (15x14) bright room with great sun exposure throughout the afternoon, exposed brick with an original fireplace mantle, and your own bathroom with a deep soak tub just off the bedroom entrance. For reference it currently has a queen bed and desk in the corner and room to spare. About the area:
Clinton Hill is a gem of an area surrounding Pratt campus and right next door to Ft. Greene and Bed-Stuy. About a 12 minute walk to the G Classon stop with some great bus options a couple blocks away. Within walking distance are amazing restaurants and bars that have some incredible neighborhood vibes. A self serve laundromat is 3 blocks away or a drop off service even closer with dry-cleaning. Grocery store with everything you need also 3 blocks away and a 24 hour deli is one block up the street. Its a great neighborhood and we have some wonderful neighbors to help make it feel like a real community.

About me-42 yo male that’s been in Brooklyn for 20+ years. Actor with many side hustles so I keep busy with an irregular schedule and also enjoy nights in making dinner or recharging with pizza and a movie. I try to keep an active lifestyle while appreciating down time. Have been honing my green thumb so hope you like plants! Among other things I moonlight as a handy man and have built the shelves and table in the apt. I like to cook and bake sourdough, fan of wine and making cocktails. Love having friends over for dinner from time to time but don’t throw parties. Down to hang out when we’re home and also love home being a place to recharge if you/I need space. Big fan of communication and mutual respect. I try to keep a clean home, am very organized and like to be inclusive in every way as the space is communal after all.

About you-I have no preference as to your gender or orientation. I’ve lived with a range of different folks and as long as we can vibe, respect each other, and have similar ideals of what a home is then great! Sorry but no couples.
