1 Bedroom Sublet Available in 3-Bedroom 2-Bath

Hi! We have a bedroom available in our 3-bedroom loft apartment for a temporary sublet, from August to the end of December, with the potential to extend. The room is 11'x9' open space with a large closet and window AC. The room can come furnished with a queen bed if you want. You will also get exclusive use of one of the bathrooms, which is only shared with guests. The room has a large window that looks east with a perfect sill for plants.

The apartment has a large living room, a large kitchen and a small storage room. There is a dishwasher in the unit and baseboard heating. The common spaces will be furnished, as seen in the photos.

The building is a converted factory right next to Pratt on Willoughby. The building is not wheelchair accessible and requires steps to enter, though there is an elevator once inside. There is a washer and dryer in the basement, however, we prefer to go to the laundromat down the block.

We like keeping the apartment clean but understand that everyone has different cleaning standards. We are looking for someone who will respect our habits as we will yours.

We have two adorable cats that are energetic and at times a little mischievous, although it doesn’t take away from their stunning personalities. We like having a lively apartment and frequently spend time in the common spaces and occasionally have friends over during the week or weekend. We love playing board games and listening to music in the living room, and cooking in the kitchen. There is no TV in the living room. You are welcome to have friends over anytime. This is your home too!

We are a couple, Jack (he/him), 31, and Liz (she/her), 29, using the second bedroom as an office. Jack is a creative professional and currently works from home. He loves to cook and has an online radio show Wednesday nights that he DJs in the living room. Liz works full-time in academia. She enjoys taking care of the plants, likes listening to podcasts and is superb at keeping the apartment clean. After work, we like to go rock climbing and are out several evenings during the week.

We are looking for someone who is fun, open, and communicative.
