The apartment is in a 5th-floor elevator building about 3 minutes from the Classon G and around 12–14 minutes to the Clinton-Washington C. Laundry in the building, high ceilings, hardwood floors, furnished common space, and a recently updated kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, appliances, and basics, so it’s ideal for someone not moving with a huge amount of stuff. Plenty of good cafés, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants nearby.

The room itself is roughly 9 x 10 and currently has a full-size bed and wardrobe, though that can be flexible. Rent is $950/month including utilities.

The apartment is generally pretty quiet, clean, and low-key. Everyone is friendly but independent, so it’s best for someone looking for a calm home environment rather than a party apartment. Building does not allow pets and the room is for one person only.

The main leaseholder has been in the apartment for over 10 years, and the current roommates have all lived together for multiple years. The apartment runs smoothly because everyone is respectful of shared spaces and works around each other’s schedules, especially since there is one bathroom. More than anything, the apartment works because personalities and day-to-day schedules fit well together.

We’re all friendly and easygoing, but everyone largely has their own separate lives and routines. This is not really a “roommates hanging out every night” type of apartment — people value peace, privacy, and a calm atmosphere at home.

The setup is best for quiet professionals with fairly regular schedules who spend a good amount of time out of the apartment. The dynamic here tends to work best for people who report to an office rather than primarily working from home.

Looking for someone responsible, considerate, and easy to live with — ideally someone who naturally keeps shared spaces tidy, cleans up after themselves, doesn’t leave dishes sitting in the sink, and is mindful about keeping common areas comfortable for everyone.
