I am a gay professional male seeking a quiet, professional male to share a 2BR/1BA apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

Your rent is $1575/month, which includes Heat, Hot Water, Fast Internet, and Con Edison [electricity].

Your move-in date is January 15th, 2026

Bedroom is unfurnished, and includes a new window AC, already installed.

About Me:

-I’m a freelance classical musician and teacher. To be clear, I only teach and practice remotely [rarely in the apartment].

-I do not smoke.

-I like to cook in the relatively small kitchen daily.. If this is your thing too, we can work out a schedule so we are not bumping into one another.

About You:

-You are a quiet professional male who has a regular work schedule AWAY from the apartment. You’re mature, quiet, considerate, gay [or gay-friendly] and do your part to keep common areas clean. You are a non-smoker.

About the Apartment:

-It’s a nice-sized place with hardwood floors, high ceilings and lots of closet space. Bedrooms are in the back of the apartment; in other words, they are quiet.

-Bathroom has a full-size tub and shower.

-This is a four-unit walkup building. We are on the 2nd floor. The neighbors are very cool, quiet people.

About the Neighborhood:

-Clinton Hill is a vibrant neighborhood, often touted as one of the best in the country. Google it. :-) There is a very large and modernly appointed Key Foods supermarket one block away; a laundromat across the street; convenience stores; restaurants of many ethnicities; bars; cafes and the US Post Office -- all and more -- are within a walking distance.

About Commuting to Manhattan:

We are a 6-minute walk from the Clinton-Washington G Train; a 12-minute walk to the DeKalb Ave MTA stop, where you can catch the Q, R, or B Trains; a 5-minute bus ride on the B54 [stop is across the street from apartment] takes you to either Flatbush, or a couple more minutes, to Jay Street, where you can catch an A, C, or F Train. Uber/Lyft averages about $10 from the apartment to either of these places.
