One big queen-sized room is available in a super huge 3-bedroom apartment. Our apartment is more than ½ of a building wide and is 1 ½ times as long as a brownstone.

The room:

Large queen-sized room at the back of the apartment! A queen bed, with end tables on both sides and a dresser comfortably fit. The picture shows my desk in the closet- the closet is still intact for use. There are quite a few built in storage shelves built-in and storage up above. It is the perfect amount of space. It has one window with excellent light. I used to keep some hanging plants in the room but I moved them to the kitchen.

The Apartment:

Is huge. The hallway is +40ft long.

The back of the apartment(closest to your room) has a full kitchen with lots of storage space, table with chairs/bench, dishwasher, a fire escape with plants and tons of kitchen gadgets. We are 80% through a paint job and could finish sometime with a touch of motivation.

The bathroom has a regular sized tub, storage shelves, mirrors, a semi-recently upgrade tile job and a rain shower head with a hand sprayer.

The boardroom has a table with seating for four (or more), the second bar (wine) and is a great place to eat or do some laptop work.

The living room has a large “L” shaped couch, a projector and sound system, and is generally kept cozy with blankets and pillows.

The nook- currently has a rowing machine in it that will be leaving with me- and is probably negotiable as space for something fun or a desk etc. At one time we contemplated a bathtub full of pillows or a permanent tent situation.

The Chill of It:

The apartment is pretty communal. We share meals, chores, and desire deeply not to have our names on things on the fridge. Choosing to share/replace items over stuffing the kitchen with 3 different gallons of milk. That being said, some things are expensive or special and we are all decent enough people not to use them without asking. The apartment is cleaned professionally by Vera whom comes every other week. She does the heavy lifting in terms of communal space cleaning and the rest of the time we clean up after ourselves or run a quick broom around.

Please know this is the kind of house that if there are a few dishes in the sink already someone will just wash them. Be chill like that and also be that person.

Absolutely no smoking cigarettes in the house, the roof is one flight up with a great view that is perfect for that. Weed is fine indoors. On this subject if you are not 420 or booze friendly this is not going to be the place for you.

Roomies:

He is in his early thirties, hilarious without being negative, tall, helpful, and strong. Personality wise he is the first to ask you if you need help with something. He manages a liquor store, is a fantastic cook, and is super playful around the house. Easy going with lots of fun hobbies that keep him busy.

She is a 29 and a wine professional. She is hardcore into her job. Super woke, spends both her free and professional time on social justice causes. She is chill when she is chilling: weed, movies, great food, and conversation.

Molly: The cat. Pretty much panthers around. Pretty but not snuggly.

They are replacing me: Semi-grumpy lesbian who works too much.
